We are here to Support you
Amid the current concerns and uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak, we wanted to take some time to assure those thinking about adoption that you are still able to access all the necessary information about the adoption process, the children waiting for families and how Families for Children can support you as you take your first steps.
We want to assure you of the steps that we are taking to keep you safe during this time, and to be able to continue to support you over the coming months.
Whilst our physical offices are closed to protect staff and families our duty social worker remains available Monday to Thursday from 8.30 to 17.00 & Friday 8.30 to 16.30 to answer any questions you may have. They will only be accessible by telephone from 9.30 to 2.30pm but outside of these times we can be emailed at firstname.lastname@example.org and would be happy to return calls and emails.

Family For Me Project
The Family for Me project hopes to raise awareness of the children who are waiting the longest and plays an important role in finding families for the children we know are waiting.
The website features anonymised profiles of the children we are trying to find families for, which will include information about the children’s personalities along with real anecdotes about what it is like to care for them, to try and encourage people to consider whether they could be the right family for the child.
For more information on the children that the project is looking for families for, please visit Family for Me.
